Manufacturing Insight is an initiative created by BF-ESSE to open the manufacturing environment to small groups of pharmacists, students, and industry professionals who want to understand how food supplements are produced in practice.
Why we started this initiative
Modern supplement manufacturing combines formulation science, industrial processing, quality control, and regulatory requirements. These processes are often discussed in theory but rarely observed directly.
The purpose of Manufacturing Insight is to provide a practical perspective on how production actually works — from raw materials and formulation to encapsulation, tableting, powder filling, and final packaging.
The initiative focuses on observation and professional discussion.
